What is the Minimum Deposit to Open an Account?
With some of our clearing firms and platforms, there is no minimum to open an account; you only need to deposit enough funds to cover the margins for the products and trades you plan to place.
Please be aware that while there is no minimum for some account types with select clearing firms, there is a minimum initial deposit for some of our other clearing firms. Please consult with your broker prior to opening your account to determine if a minimum initial deposit applies for accounts opened with the FCM that you are considering.
What is your Commission Rate?
Because we offer a wide selection of platforms, support accounts with a variety of FCMs, offer multiple account types and various services, our brokers quote commissions individually.

What are your Margins?
The Overnight/Full and Day Trading Margins are listed on our website on our Margins webpage. The Overnight/Full margins are determined by the exchanges, so they are the same for all FCMs. Day Trading Margins vary depending on the FCM, so please make sure you are looking at the appropriate margin table for your account.
How can I fund my account ?
Funding instructions vary depending on the FCM/FDM. Please be aware that most accounts can be funded with a variety of currencies.

English is not my first language; do you offer customer service in other languages?
We offer customer service, including: Tech Support, Order Desk, Treasury, New Accounts and Broker Support in multiple languages. A complete list of the languages we speak is on our homepage under the heading: “We Speak Your Language.”
Do you open accounts for Canadians?
Global Futures offers trading accounts with multiple clearing firms, several of which do accept Canadian clients. Please make sure to inform your broker of the specific province you reside in PRIOR to starting your application, so they can inform you of your clearing firm and platform options.
Can I trade futures or forex with funds from my IRA account?
Yes. Please notify your broker PRIOR to account opening that you plan to trade with funds from an IRA account and they will advise you of the proper account application to complete.

What happens if my computer or trading platform freezes and I need to place a trade or close a position?

Can I trade futures and forex from the same account?
No, you will need to open a futures trading account with an FCM (Futures Commission Merchant) and open a separate forex trading account with an FDM (Forex Dealer Member). Several of our trading platforms are available for futures and forex trading, so while you will have to have separate futures and forex trading accounts, you may place trades through the same platform, with select trading platforms such as Global Zen Trader and Ninja Trader.
Do you offer any platforms that are available as a mobile app?
Yes we do. Not all trading platforms are available as mobile apps, but we do offer several futures and forex platforms that are available as an app. Please speak with your broker about your options.
